Your narrated tour through Tromsø takes you past many historic homes dating back to the 18th century mingling with modern day structures. Your first stop is the Tromsø Museum where you'll discover Medieval church art, Viking jewelry, ancient fossils and learn about Norway's indigenous Sami people. You'll continue on to a Tromsø landmark- the Arctic Cathedral whose ultra-modern architecture can be seen in various parts of the city. An exhilarating cable car ride up 1,300 feet to the top of Storsteinen Mountain offers dramatic 360-degree views of Tromsø, Troms, and the surrounding mountains. A charming restaurant overlooking the city and an indoor/outdoor children's playground sit at the top of the mountain.
Special Notes:
On Sunday mornings, the Arctic Cathedral will be visited from the outside only. The church may also close on short notice for funerals, weddings and other religious functions.Child Price:
