Tallinn is dotted with ancient guard towers and you can see many of them during this approximately four-hour walking tour of Old Town. After boarding your motorcoach, you'll travel past medieval walls, gates and watchtowers before disembarking near Toompea Hill. From here, it's a short walk to Palace Square, home of Toompea Castle, home of Estonia's Parliament. Nearby stands the 150-foot tall Pikk Hermann Tower and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Your stroll continues to St. Mary's Cathedral, the oldest church in Tallinn and mainland Estonia and renowned as the burial site for nobility since the 15th century. Continue to the 15th century Stout Margaret Tower, once an artillery tower, but has now turned into a museum, which you will now visit. Climb up the 150 steps to the top and marvel at the breathtaking views. From here you will continue to the Lower Old Town to visit the Town Hall Square, the social heart of the town. At the end of your tour, you'll rejoin your coach for the ride back to your ship.
