Learn to dive in one day as you discover the beauty of St. Thomas's underwater world. After climbing aboard a 45-foot-long catamaran, you and fellow beginners will be whisked away to Buck Island Marine Sanctuary, a National Wildlife Marine Reserve that's home to an astonishing world of green sea turtles, octopus, conch, urchins, starfish, squid, and a variety of tropical reef fish. Once on the island, you'll have the full attention of a PADI certified scuba instructor who'll lead you through a brief orientation and the fundamentals in how to use the included equipment, deal with water pressure, and breathe through a regulator. Once you get your feet wet diving in a pool-like body of water, you'll be ready to jump in the warm, open waters of the Caribbean. Marvel at the colorful marine life as you glide through the shallow waters to a shipwreck before returning to the dock.
