Drive to the Adachi Museum of Art in Yasugi. Founded in 1970, the Museum features one of the finest modern gardens in Japan and a collection of over 1,000 Japanese paintings from 1912 on. Explore Matsue Castle, called the 'plover castle' one of the few black castles with its donjon's black wooden walls. After enjoying japanese lunch, board a sightseeing boat for a cruise through Matsue's many canals. Your boatman sings local folksongs as you take in views of the city and sail under the bridges. Then, back to your couch and return to the ship.

Canal cruise uses small boats; seating is on the flat boat bottom and not on seat/bench. Shoes must be removed.A minimum of 25 passengers is required for this tour to operate.
