Peruse the displays and learn the actual iron-making process from Mr. Kobayashi Shunji, a local swordsmith with a family sword-making history that dates back to the Edo period (1603-1868). Learn the technique of forging and watch an engaging Japanese sword making demonstration. You will receive a bento box lunch made with fresh, regional ingredients presented by Mr. Hideaki Tachibana, a government award-winning Japanese chef.
