Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
If walls could talk, imagine all the tales the remains of the Corfe Castle could tell! Travel into the idyllic countryside of Dorset taking in the highlights en route to the village of Corfe. From the time when dinosaurs roamed the area right up to the modern day, nearly all periods of history are celebrated in and around the village. Your destination is the 1,000-year-old ruins of Corfe Castle, a stronghold since before the time of William the Conqueror. Equally romantic and historic, Corfe Castle displays the remnants of exceptional medieval architecture, from its perch on the top of Purbeck Hills. Around every corner there is a story, and you might even encounter wildlife that has taken up residence. After walking in the footsteps of royalty before you, head into the charming village for a little free time to explore before returning to port.
Special Notes:
Notes:Coaches park in the village of Corfe, and from there it is a pleasant uphill walk to the castle. There are some steep grades at the castle.
