Led by a local chef, immerse yourself in the flavors of the Bahamas as you learn to prepare traditional dishes in a hands-on environment. Travel by motorcoach to a café setting (indoor/outdoor), where you'll be equipped with kitchen utensils and ingredients sourced from local markets. At a double workstation, participate in the culinary demonstration under the watchful eye of a charismatic chef and learn the techniques to craft a two-course meal. The sample menu features conch fritters or conch salad as appetizers and main course classics such as steamed fish, stewed conch, or the regional favorite Fire Engine, steamed corned beef. Enjoy the fruits of your labors with a delectable lunch accompanied by a Bahamian beverage. Bottled water is provided. Open containers containing alcohol will not be allowed onto the bus.
