Discover preserved Roman Villas and experience the everyday life of the ancient Romans. First, participants will visit the archeological site of Oplontis. This UNESCO site, open again after an outstanding restoration, is a jewel, complete with very well preserved ancient frescoes. They will move then to the close archeological site of Pompeii to discover Casa della Regina; the villa not regularly visited, is part of a project to study the daily life in ancient Rome through archaeological research
Special Notes:
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. Bring water,head cover. For security reasons, large bags, backpacks and trolleys are not permitted inside Pompeii excavations. These large items can be left in the motorcoach. Lockers are not available. This tour includes a considerable amount of walking, inclines and steps, not recommended for wheelchair users or guests with walking difficulties.Details
