Take a 4WD expedition and hike that explores the heart of the island on a half-day excursion. Drive up to the summit of Mt. Rotui and Belvedere Lookout for panoramas of Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. Pass though bamboo groves and fruit plantations. At the Moorea Fruit Juice Factory, enjoy a relaxing visit to a facility that makes juice from local papaya, grapefruit, pineapple and other tropical island fruits. They also produce 10- to 40-proof fruit brandies, as well as 25-proof liqueurs. Visit the gift shop for souvenirs before returning to your cruise ship.
Special Notes:
The Moorea Juice Factory is closed on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays.This tour travels unpaved roads and trails that can be muddy and bumpy. Not recommended for guests with back or neck conditions or pregnant women.
