Combine a land tour and catamaran cruise for a full-day Kona showcase. On land you'll travel an expansive area to experience everything from coffee farms to Hawaiian landmarks (with a stop for shopping and a sampling of Kona coffee). Historic Kailua Village is a bustling, gathering place in the heart of Kona. Your guide will point out storied places like Hulihee Palace and the Painted Church. At Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park you'll visit an ancient "place of refuge" where absolution was granted to law breakers and vanquished warriors if they out-distanced their pursuers. Top off your expedition with a cruise aboard a 65' open-air catamaran. Unwind along the way to Captain Cook's Monument in historical Kealakekua Bay and enjoy a deli-style lunch and Kona coffee. While cruising back to the pier, enjoy live Hawaiian-style music and keep an eye out for spinner dolphins and other marine life.
