Tasman Island Wildlife Cruise
Set off on a 2.5- to 3-hour voyage onboard a nimble vessel that maximizes wildlife viewings. You'll cruise the coastline of Tasman National Park taking in beautiful vistas of the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere, the towering sea stacks such as the Totem Pole and Candlestick, and dramatic sea caves which you will glide through. One of the highlights of the cruise is Tasman Island, a great landmark of the Southern Ocean, punctuated by its slender white lighthouse, a beacon for seafarers entering Storm Bay. Your skipper and guide will provide expert narration and help you to spot the abundance of native wildlife in the sea, on land and in the air.

What you will see along the way:
Your relaxed cruise travels the coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck, which is part of the Tasman National Park. Cruise in and around rock formations, archways and deep-sea caves. Abundant wildlife, seabirds and dolphins are often spotted. Open-air seating offers excellent all-round viewing.

Photo Opportunity:
Be sure to have your camera at the ready when you pass Tasman Island. Its white lighthouse stands as a beacon for seafarers entering Storm Bay.

Lunch:
After your eco-cruise, enjoy lunch before driving back to the ship.
