The Army Museum of Tasmania /Anglesea Barracks
The Army Museum of Tasmania is located in a 19th-century military jail at Anglesea Barracks. One of Australia's most significant historical military precincts, it appears today much as it was when the first buildings were constructed in 1814. The museum displays depict the colonial period when the British army occupied the site as well as the various conflicts Tasmanian service men and women have been involved in from 1899 to the current operational deployments. After an informative guided tour filled with a fascinating collection of military memorabilia and uniforms, free time is provided to discover Australia's military past and present at your leisure.
Hobart City Drive
A drive through Hobart highlights this capital city's eclectic mix of natural beauty, colorful markets, historic buildings, and inlets, bays and hills that create this lively city's stunning panorama. A local drive takes in such top sights as The Cascade Brewery, Mt.
