Experience Hiroshima on a narrated driving tour of the city that is designed for guests who prefer little or no walking on this approximately two-hour excursion. You'll drive through the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, stopping at the Atomic Bomb Dome. Formerly the old Industry Promotion Hall, this was one of the few buildings near Ground Zero that wasn't completely vaporized. Its gutted walls and skeletal dome structure stand as mute symbols of destruction. You'll also stop at Hiroshima Castle for another photo opportunity. Originally built in the late 16th century, it was destroyed by a firestorm following the atomic blast. Rebuilt in 1958, it houses a museum on pre-war Japan, and makes a fabulous photo subject. From here, you'll head back to the pier where your ship awaits.
