A 30-minute scenic drive brings you to Guadeloupe's most popular seaside town. Upon arrival, enjoy approximately three hours of leisure to explore its cultural highlights, enjoy the beautiful soft-sand beaches and inviting aquamarine waters, and peruse souvenirs in the colorful marketplace. The craft village of Sainte-Anne sells a brilliant array of island treasures, and euros are accepted for purchases. From fragrant spices to brightly painted mementos and souvenirs, fill your bags with island memories. When hunger strikes, enjoy the thriving culinary scene with restaurants, cafés and local street vendors serving up island favorites, fresh seafood and Creole specialties at all price points. Return to the motorcoach at the designated time for the scenic drive back to port.
Special Notes:
This tour is not guided.There is a 10-minute walk from the coach drop-off point to the main town and beach area. Passengers must be able to negotiate steps onto and off the bus. The level of walking is at passengers' own discretion. Please remember to wear swimwear and take a towel and sunscreen if intending to enjoy the beach. Please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages prior to swimming.
Euros are accepted for purchases. The beach can become very busy, and you may come across local vendors selling goods. There may be independent vendors on the beach offering water sports. These are provided by parties unconnected to P&O Cruises.
It is common to find coin-operated toilets in Guadeloupe. Please take careful note of the return time and meeting point, as the coach cannot be held for latecomers.
