A wheelchair accessible, open-air tram is a breezy way to tour the highlights of Grand Turk. You'll want to wear adequate sun protection and a hat for this 2-hour, adventure and keep your camera at the ready. From the Port Terminal, head out with your knowledgeable guide who will impart fascinating facts as you see the sights. Cockburn Town, also referred to as Grand Turk, is the capital city of the Turks and Caicos Islands and has served as the seat of government for the islands since 1766. Stop at the historic center of Cockburn Town for 20-minutes of souvenir shopping or to grab a snack (at your own expense). Continue on to the Grand Turk Lighthouse and enjoy 20-minutes to explore and photograph this iconic structure. Your return route passes the Salt Pons where pink flamingos often congregate. Arrive at port with plenty of time to explore independently for the rest of the day.
