Ensenada is quickly gaining a reputation as a wine and food lover's destination. And this excursion highlights many of the area's unique flavors beginning with a journey to a cheese shop in the village of Valle de Guadalupe. During your stop, you'll also be able to taste other locally-made farmer´s market products such as olive oil, bread and jams. Next, you'll visit local wineries for high quality wine tastings; a friendly wine connoisseur at each winery will give you a brief yet informative and rich description of their bottles that will also be available for sale at a special 'cava' price. Once you're done with the 'queso and vino,' you'll head to an award-winning restaurant owned by a famous Mexican chef for a delicious Baja-Med lunch of traditional favorites. During the course of your lunch, the chef will stop by your table and answer questions regarding the menu.
