This fascinating excursion starts with a Korean BBQ. The term Korean barbecue or Gogigui (meat roast) in Korean refers to the Korean method of roasting various types of meat and vegetable. Such dishes are often prepared at the diner's table on gas or charcoal grills that are built into the table itself. Enjoy the Korean authentic BBQ, then head to the International Market, also known as Gukje Market, a vast, bustling complex with a mix of both Western and Korean goods, crafts and curios. Sample the local treat, hoddeok, a sweet, fried cake bursting with crunchy sunflower seeds, and many more Korean delicacies.
