Begin your sightseeing drive toward the southern part of the island, taking in picturesque views as you head to the original slave huts that were used as shelters for the slaves working in the beautiful, pink-colored salt flats, which you will see from up close as well during a short photo stop at the Salt Flats. As you drive, your knowledgeable guide will offer detailed cultural information on all that you see. Continue your journey to Bonaire's first lighthouse, "Willemstoren Lighthouse that was built in 1837. Next, it's time for fun in the sun on a delightful two-hour beach break. Relax on the final leg of your day, with a drive through typical Caribbean Mangroves, and the capital of Bonaire, Kralendijk, where you'll delight in the old and new homes in candy-colored hues, the quaint fishing harbor and a smattering of historical sights. Return to port.
