Explore the historic and legendary sites of the Antrim Coast and visit the famed Giant's Causeway on this full-day adventure that includes lunch. Begin with a three -hour panoramic drive along the Antrim Coast past Larne, an ancient town with a modern port, and the fine harbor of Carnlough. Stop for tea/coffee and scones, then continue on through Ballycastle, home to the oldest surviving remains of Bonamargie Friary. Pause at the viewing point for a photo of the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge before continuing to a hotel for lunch. Snap photos of Dunluce Castle, one of Ireland's most romantic castles. Next, drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Giant's Causeway site, an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns. A short walk of approximately three-quarter-mile path down to the cliff bottom will provide you with a breath taking view of the causeway, a fascinating natural wonder.
