While it's true that the island's natural beauty is captivating, Barbados is more than sprawling beaches and swaying palms. And some of the most exquisite manmade wonders can be found from one end of the island to the other. Get acquainted with the artful side of Barbados with a visit to Earthworks Pottery, a unique studio specializing in one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic pieces. Next door you'll find the On The Wall Gallery, which specializes in Barbados' art. For a look at plantation life of a bygone era, you'll travel to the Sunbury Plantation House; and after a tour, you'll sit down for a deli lunch. And the day's not over yet. On your return trip to Bridgetown, you'll stop for photos at Christ Church Parish Church, site of the mysterious moving coffins.
