A wonderful primer on Antigua's colorful past, your guided tour begins with a scenic motorcoach drive through the center of quaint and historic Antigua. Visit Dow's Hill Interpretation Center and view a 15-minute multimedia presentation that traces the island's history from prehistoric times to the present day. Take a short, guided tour of the area's ruins and enjoy panoramic views from the observation deck. Continue on to Shirley Heights Lookout for a picture-perfect view of Nelson's Dockyard. Built in 1725, the dockyard served as the base for the English naval squadron patrolling the West Indies.
