- Prince William Sound
Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Hop aboard a catamaran and travel 160 miles into Prince William Sound to see 26 "named" glaciers, as well as an abundance of wildlife - both on shore and below the water on this 5-hour cruise. A hot lunch is included as well as a no-seasickness guarantee.
Come face to face with several types of glaciers, including the alpine (hanging), piedmont and tidewater. It's not uncommon to see glaciers calve (when pieces of ice break off into the water) during the cruise. To witness this massive movement of ice and hear its thunderous roar is truly an unforgettable experience.
And the wildlife is equally astounding. Enjoy sightings of sea otters, seals, porpoises, sea lions and bald eagles during the cruise. You may also spot bears, mountain goats and whales - both humpback and orca. At the end of the trip we'll visit a bird rookery - home to thousands of kittiwakes.
Special Notes:
This tour is only available to passengers on back-to-back voyages who will stay onboard the ship and cruise back to Vancouver as it is a roundtrip that will end back at the pier in Whittier.
