Adelaide blends exceptional art, attractions and wine and this half day tour offers a taste of all three.
Begin with a leisurely hour at Adelaide's Botanic Gardens. Discover diverse plant life, including majestic Moreton Bay Figs and trees from the Garden's original plantings over 150 years ago. Visit the historic Palm House, built in 1877 featuring unique plants from Madagascar and explore the Bicentennial Conservatory, home to rainforest species and the largest single span glasshouse in the Southern Hemisphere.
Next, dive into Aboriginal culture at the South Australian Museum. Founded in 1856, it houses the world's largest collection of Australian Aboriginal artifacts. Wander the exhibits at your own pace and gain insight into one of the world's oldest continuous living cultures through engaging and contemporary displays.
Finish the tour at the National Wine Centre of Australia, located beside the Botanic Gardens. This architecturally striking venue showcases the Australian wine industry and offers a unique visitor experience. Through the interactive Wine Discovery Journey, explore the winemaking process from vine to bottle. On the first floor, sample from a selection of 120 Australian wines, all preserved in optimal condition using state of the art Enomatic wine dispensers.
